Experimentations

Experimentations are a fundamental step to learn how to develop an idea, to realize an abstract concept, to know the processing of the materials, to compare the initial project to the final result.
In these photographs three projects are shown: two installations and one product design prototype.
For the installation “Metal Rain” created the collaboration with the artist Bibanart, as well as my dear friend Ivan Pressi, thousands of aluminum sheets have been folded, creating a particular effect of metallic rain enriched by reflections of light, playing with abstract depths created by fragments of mirrors that determined the indefiniteness of the beginning and end of this installation, 2014.
The circular bamboo lamp “Eos” was created for a contest about the study of light: in this lamp the light source is not visible, but the projection of light at the two opposite poles creates a particular and geometric visual effect, 2013.
The last picture portrays an “under study” project for an installation created by the Atelier Oi studio, based in La Neuveville, Switzerland: also in this case, “flying” objects, research of shapes, materials and light reflections, 2015.
