The front door of a home is as important as the home itself.
It is the first element that we see, that the personality of the house and the people who live there can also communicate to us.
In this case the setting in which the door was to be placed was rustic, but at the same time it had to be elegant and characterized by a strong historical value of a traditional village in a small town outside Udine.
It was therefore important to design an element that could be in harmony with the surrounding component. Since this portal is surrounded by beautiful vegetation, we had to make sure that the vegetation came into direct contact with the door.
Due to the natural composition of the portal, we decided to utilize a rough and pure material, without any special treatments, so that is going to change with the passing of time.
