Through the materia

Light is the element that allows us to see and define a shape.
The more the light is soft or shielded, the more the image of the object or landscape that we have in front of us becomes less clear and blurred, giving to emotions the biggest role interpreting the reality.

In the “free art” of design, parallel lines, and especially vertical stripes, are the wabi sabi expression of “iki”, refined style, where light must be subdued, like in an indirect daylight, where everything gives a mild sensation.

The passage of the light through a surface creates a natural and gentle filtration, a soft and relaxing effect which leads to the contemplation of elementary geometries and natural elements.
